Making my own composed soil

Here is how I make my own compose soil as organic fertilizer for planting:
1) Prepare a pot fill with normal planting soil, don't fill it too full.
2) Put the pot in a shady area where there is no direct sunshine.
3) Throw in any veggie left over when I prepare my food before cooking.
4) Water the pot just like you water your normal plant
5) Then the rest is just waiting for the earth worm to do their miracle :)

Veggie left over that I use as compose ingredients
Peeled carrot skin
Peeled potato skin
Peeled apple skin
Peeled radish skin

Veggies left over in the pot

Try to dig up the soil and show you guys
the earth worm are there doing their job.

My DIY Battery-less Hand Crank Dynamo Remote Control

Ever get frustrated by the constant need of the battery change for your remote control every once in a while?

Well, if you are the kind of person who do not care much about appearance, and you care more on the environment, then I have a solution for you.

Introducing .... Dynamo Remote Control, a battery-less remote control.

Steps to make one:
1) Buy or get a Hand Crank Dynamo that have a DC output.
2) Connect the DC output to your remote control battery compartment using 2 wires.
3) Every time you need to operate the remove control, just twist/crank the Dynamo handle and press any button on the remote as you would do normally.

It's that simple, really!!!

It may seems not much of a saving in terms of money, but over the long run, you avoided throwing away a lot of batteries, thus helping reduce the toxic waste on earth.

Mother earth is definitely worth saving, don't you agree? :)

The type of dynamo I am using, it has a Nokia charger DC output:
