Home-Made Vegetarian Pizza

Here is my home-made vegetarian pizza with ingredients like:
Mozzarella Cheese, Button mushrooms, Bell peppers, Onions, Pineapple, Ready Made Pizza Crust, Thai Chilli Saurce.

Vegetarian Pizza is really easy to made and it's also taste extremely delicious compared to Pizza we bought outside. Unlike some pizza that we bought at shops which may be overloaded with seasoning and processed ingredients, it really make us feel really dried out and thirsty after the meal, but with home-made pizza, we can make sure all the ingredients we put in are all fresh, clean and healthy. With these ingredients, I not even need to put any seasoning, the pizza are just juicy enough to spill over when I bite into them :)

Why we should be vegetarian?

Top reasons why we should be vegetarian:

1) Stop animal abuse/cruelty/killing
2) Becoming vegetarian is good for your health
3) Vegetarianism is environmental friendly (Animal farming produces far more green house gases than normal farming)

Accidental Bell Pepper Plants

I buried some bell pepper seeds and other veggies left-over in one of the pot to let it
compose so that it can become natural composed fertilizer.
After few months, I realized there are 2 plants growing in the pot with little white
flowers, I don't know what kind of tree it is, so I just snap some of it's branch to clear
it up for my other plants, never realize that it's actually 2 bell pepper plants.
One night when I was watering my plant, I noticed a very cute little red bell pepper
hanging from the "unknown" tree. To my surprise, they are bell peppers :D
I never knew that with the hot and low land climate in southeast asia, the bell pepper
can survive.
Here are some pictures of my "accidental" bell pepper plants in a pot, at various stages:

Alert!! Conman on the loose and ready to strike again!!!

Recently my friend receive a call and also email regarding a guy supposedly called himself "Dr. Lim Heng Kiap" that offering him some online investment plan. The way he said it and the email he sent smell "fishy" to my friend and my friend feel something is not right about this guy. So my friend do a little background check on the name in google and found out tons of info on this guy and discover that he's been a long time conman, he has been active since 2005 (or earlier) conning people about online typist kind of job and require them to pay upfront deposit of $100 for the job and get away without paying back a single cent on the supposed "job".

Now we suspect that he will change his tactic from online typist kind of scam to other kind of scam like online investment/trading since he now offer my friend this type of "job".

Here are his detail, as you can see, the email and phone numbers can change anytime, so beware!! Don't be another victim:

Home made Seri Muka Kuih

Kuih Seri muka

Ingredients:

Rice Layer

300g glutinous rice (wash and soak in water for 3 to 4 hours)
180ml coconut milk
2 teaspoons of salt
1 tablespoons of sugar

Egg Custard Layer

3 large eggs
4 tablespoons of flour
4 tablespoons of corn flour
300ml coconut milk
120g castor sugar
5 leaves of natural pandan, pound it and extract the green juice.
1/4 teaspoons of salt

Method:

1. Drain rice and steam in tray for 20 minutes.

2. Remove from heat, fluff up the rice and pour in the coconut milk, sugar and salt.
Mix well. Steam for another 20-25 minutes or till cooked.

3. Using a spoon or spatula, press cooked glutinous rice firmly and use another tray to level pressed rice.

4. Mix the 2 flours mixture and add in the 3 eggs. Strain mixture. Add coconut milk, pandan juice, salt and sugar.

5. Pour in egg custard over the steamed glutinous rice and steam for 10 - 15 minutes until cooked.

Here are the pictures taken after the Kuih is done, I use natural Pandan juice without any other artificial coloring, so it looks a lot pale compare to those scarily "radioactive" green coloring.
